Xiong Hao said: We should take this exhibition as a good opportunity for exchange, absorb the nutrition of Chinese traditional excellent culture and art, uphold the spirit of continuous innovation in the pursuit of art, enrich the creative forms and innovate the expression of ideas in the artistic creation process, so that ceramic art can develop and improve in the integration.  At the same time, it is mentioned that museums should strengthen the communication and interaction between museums and introduce more high-quality exhibitions.

Wang Limin, director of the Datong Museum, said: Datong is not only famous for its "coal capital", but also has advanced ceramic skills. Hunyuan kiln, Datong kiln and Huairen kiln were the three famous kilns at that time in Liao, Jin and Yuan dynasties. According to archaeological data, they should be first created and burned in the Tang Dynasty, with white porcelain and black porcelain as the main porcelain.  Most of the porcelains on display in this exhibition are produced by local kilns, which is the best proof of the fact that the south is green and the north is white.  "Xijing Imprint-Datong Liao, Jin and Yuan Literature Exhibition" opened in Jingdezhen, China's ceramics museum. It is the first step to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two places. The two museums will continue to enhance exchanges and interaction in the future.

Xijing Datong, after more than a hundred years of precipitation, the nomadic culture from the grassland and the farming culture from the central plains mingled and lived together, creating a splendid and unique Xijing regional culture.  Colorful and dazzling porcelain art, colorful folk customs, vivid murals and magnificent Buddhist buildings all highlight the prosperity of Xijing Datong and the prosperous times of the legendary Buddhist capital.

Xijing Impression-Opening Ceremony of Exhibition of Datong Literature During Liao, Jin and Yuan Periods, which is extended from December 18, 2019 to March 15, 2020, displays more than 110 sets of Liao, Jin and Yuan cultural relics of Datong Museum. The exhibition is divided into four units, namely "folk customs", "verve of kiln fire", "return of soul" and "wall color painting". Folk life, custom belief and social economy are integrated into the exhibition.  The exquisite gold and silver vessels, the colorful porcelain art, the colorful folk customs and the vivid frescoes show the unique regional feelings of Xijing Datong and represent the glory and prosperity of the three dynasties of Liao, Jin and yuan.
